    The Curriculum Developer is responsible for Researches, writes and develops early childhood Home-Based curriculum Collaborates with the Curriculum Department to develop effective instructional strategies, learning, assessment, evaluation and related research  The Curriculum Content Developer provides support to the Curriculum department.


    • Develop scope and sequence for home-based curriculum
    • Write content for all components of the curriculum for home-based program  
    • Promote best practices in Early Childhood development based on Early Childhood standards and other prescribed curricula developed by The Learning Experience
    • Collaborate with Curriculum department on current and future program development
    • Provide strategies which connect curriculum, instruction, assessment and professional development to improve teaching and child outcome
    • Assist families with interpretation and implementation of the curriculum and related documents
    • Conduct research of the progressions in Early Childhood Education, School Readiness, and Accreditation
    • Prepare curriculum packages for submission to states for approval
    • Develop and maintain rapport with corporate team, and customers via email and phone support
    • Meets regularly with immediate supervisor, completes work activities and reports, and attends all meeting and training sessions as requested
    • Accepts special assignments and performs other duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective functioning of the department



    • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood education, Curriculum Instruction or related field
    • P-3 Early Childhood Certification or similar preferred
    • Ability and willingness to travel to local child care sites, if needed
    • Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of early childhood education, child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning and assessment
    • Communicate and respond accurately, clearly and professionally in written and verbal forms and in a manner, that consistently demonstrates respect and concern;
    • Exhibit enthusiasm and interpersonal skills to relate well with fellow team, families, and center administration, as a representative of the curriculum team
    • Ability to process, protect and exercise discretion in handling confidential information and materials
    • Demonstrate ability to use electronic equipment for data management, information retrieval, visual and audio presentations and telecommunications
    • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and master other computer technology/software programs, as needed
    • Must have excellent command of English language and grammar, both verbal and written
    • Must be able to remain abreast of developments in the child development field to enhance professional growth and development
