The position is located onsite at our new international world headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Florida.

 

 

Responsibilities

The Education Manager collaborates with the Curriculum Department researches, designs, endorses and implements TLE's proprietary curriculum and enrichment programs that are developed for ages birth - 12 years of age.

 

  1. Develop and create curriculum themes and concepts with a strong emphasis on developing our technology curriculum, aligning with Early Learning standards, bridging numerous state guidelines.
  2. Review the company’s proprietary curriculum and provide suggestions and recommendations regarding any developments.
  3. Promote best practices in Early Childhood development based on Early Childhood standards and other prescribed curricula developed by The Learning Experience.
  4. Collaborate with Curriculum department on current and future program development.
  5. Endorse the company’s curriculum.
  6. Work with the Curriculum Team to make any necessary adjustments and modifications to the curriculum.
  7. Responsible for submission of curriculum to all states for approved use in our centers.
  8. Conduct monthly online curriculum trainings to our centers
  9. Conduct live workshops and presentations to our current and potential franchisees, and center management teams.
  10. Accept special assignments and perform other duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring efficient and effective functioning of the department.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood education with an MS.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction, PhD is a plus.Degree Teaching experience with children ages birth through Kindergarten.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word and Excel and the ability to learn and master other computer technology/software programs, as needed.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of interactive whiteboards and available software.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of MS Office specifically MS Excel preferred. Knowledge of Adobe InDesign.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of QRIS.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of ITERS, ECERS, SACERS or similar is preferred.
  • Must be able to remain abreast of developments in the child development field to enhance professional growth and development.
