Overview

At the highest level, all employees of The Learning Experience must be enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and committed to perform their job in an ethical and proper manner. The Video Production Specialist is responsible for creating video content to be distributed across multiple platforms.

Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

  10. Flexibility to work with existing video content and external submissions along with creating your own content.

  12. Able to form and maintain effective partnerships across organizational boundaries.
  13. Excellent oral and written communications skills (including public speaking) in English.
  14. Maintains knowledge of industry trends and insures innovation and best practices.
  15. Self-starter – Able to find the people and information resources required for successful completion of projects.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  1. Pre-Production – Meet with team members to discuss upcoming video shoots. Helping to secure locations, either on-site in our studio or on-location
  2. Production – Prepping studio or location site for video shoots. This involves, setting up cameras, lighting and audio. Operating teleprompter and script supervision during recordings.
  3. Post- Production – Importing and organizing footage. Expert video editing skills as well as motion graphics using either Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects or Final Cut Pro
  4. Perform all production tasks including filming, lighting, and capturing audio.
  5. Maintain company’s online video platform.

 

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in film, design, or a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Master of the Mac environment.
  • Strong videography skills and an eye for composition.
  • Proficiency in managing on-site video productions
  • Expert in video editing software: Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, Motion
  • Experience in the studio environment working with lighting/audio equipment.
  • Expert editing skills in Final Cut Pro X or Premiere Pro. Thorough knowledge of Adobe CC suite of applications including After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
  • Experience in creating motion graphics.
  • Must be able to provide own transportation to various locations
